Diamonds

Top: Forever 21 | Jeans: Levis | Shoes: Zara

There are few patterns that are hard to pull off, including this one - the diamonds. So the safest way is to wear it with black or same color. The simpler, the better. As you notice by now, I rarely wear accessories. Its not that i'm not into it. Honestly, (and pardon the lame excuse, but its true) I intentionally leave it back home when we move down under. I have brought 10 big boxes full of clothes and shoes, few bags, my daughter's toys, pots and pans and few linens. Imagine that. So I have no room for other stuff anymore. Sadly, it my accessories that needs to be sacrificed.

Long Lines

Top: Forever 21 | Jeans: Mango | Shoes: Zara | Sunglass: Ray ban

How adorable is this jeans?! Found it on mango while im doing my usual shopping. I wasn't going to buy jeans, especially in mango, not that im saying mango jeans are not good, but i'm a big fan of levis so... As i was saying, i wasn't lookinh for a jeans on particular but the moment i saw this jeans, i just said to myself "it doesn't hurt to buy a mango jeans anyway!" LOL. This jeans has been popular for quite sometime now. Well, at first wasn't going gaga ober this print as i thought it would not suite me. But when i tried it on... "Oh definitely yes!" No need to think twice. Right?

Black Flowers

Top: Forever 21 | Jeans: Levis | Shoes: Zara

I am a big fan of Levis Jeans. Aside from the fact that they are reasonably priced compare to those expensive lines of jeans having the same quality of fabric, they also fit well on me. But i always buy their "jeggings" collection as it is the only ones who fits well at the bottom. Their skinny jeans look like a straight cut on me, don't know why. Anyway, i've scored this floral print on sale. Perfect timing as i've been hunting for a floral jeans for quite sometime now. Since its autumn, floral should be outdated by now right? Well i say not for this color though. As black is definitely not a summer color.

One for the Book

Dress worn as Top: Zara | Skirt: Asos | Shoes: Zara

This outfit is one of those "dress worn as top" moments. As i have a hard time looking for a longsleeve-black-and-white-stripes top like this so might as well use this dress for the meantime. And it works! I like how polish this look turns out. The black and white look is always classic i guess. In fashion world, they call the stripe look as nautical. I have to know why. Any idea?

Little Red

Dress worn as Top: Asos | Skirt: Asos | Shoes: Zara

Hello there! Having a good weather over here so might as well enjoy the day. It is my first time wearing matching-solid-color top and skirt or "Monochrome" as they call it in fashion world. And did i say RED is my favourite color? I love how vibrant the shade is. It shouts attention and elegance at the same time. Too bad i cant go red all the way as i dont have red pumps YET. Reminds me, i need to hunt.
The top is actually a dress i wore here. I got that idea from a fellow blogger. And it is quite a clever idea. But tricky as well. Depends on how thick and long the dress is and how long the skirt, over it, would be. Thats why this skirt is so perfect as it is long enough to hide the bottom of the dress inside. It also matches my favourite shade of lipstick, MAC Lady Danger.

Keeping Up

Sweater: Zara | Skirt: Forever 21 | Shoes: Zara

I find it hard to find a pencil skirt that would look good on me. Either the waist is too tight and the bottom is too loose or the other way around. This pencil skirt is so perfect, I bought two. It creates that illusion of smaller waist and wider hips. In case you are wondering how tall I am, well im only 5'5. I wear UK size 8. Although some says i already look thin, I still want to lose some weight, especially around my belly. Since I gave birth, I really have a hard time dealing with my protruding tummy. I cannot do extreme exercises as I had caesarean delivery. I just rely on my not-so-diet diet. As Asian, I eat rice almost 3 times a day. So where's my diet there? Well, I eat brown rice and in small portions. I also drink lots of lemon water (did you know the benefits of lemon water?). And I have never eaten sweets and chips, and haven't drink soda, tea, coffee, juice or anything fluid except water for the past 10 years.

Sweats in sweater

Sweater: Zara | Skirt: Miss Selfridge | Shoes: Zara

This is my favorite skirt. It makes my waist so small and it goes with everything. And my favorite part is that it has pockets. Im really a forgetful person after my cesarian delivery. So i hate holding things as i might end up losing it. As you probably notice by now, i don't own lots of bags. In fact, i hate bringing one. I know, not a typical woman right? Its because i dont bring a lot of things except the essential ones, like wallet and mobile phone. So for that small things, a bag for me, is unnecessary. And having a having a pocket is a must.
Anyway, I am preparing for the autumn so im pulling out my sweaters from the boxes. Too early, right? But it is starting to rain out here in Brisbane. And my skin cannot withstand even just a cold wind. Though, i dont own a lot of knits. Maybe its time to shop! Yay!

Coral Bliss

Dress: Topshop | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Coach

I don't own a lot of skater or A-line dresses. I don't know why. But looking at this dress from Topshop made me think maybe I should buy more. I just don't like the length of this dress though. I would prefer something that sits just below the knee. It feels age appropriate and more formal.

Naughty-Cal

Dress: Zara | Shoes: Zara

stripes is now treding on fashion world especially with bloggers. And i see why. It makes an outfit looks fabulous! You can even mix it with other patterns without going overboard. I also use this as top, as seen here.
