A Day with Flats

Sweater: Zara | Trouser: Zara | Shoes: Valentino Flats | Bag: Michael Kors Selma | Sunnies: Ray Ban

I love wearing monochromes. It looks classy and elegant. Honestly, blue isn't my colour. But sometimes the things you least like turns out to be one of the good things on you. Do you agree? this Zara sweater is one of the most comfortable, cozy sweaters i have ever worn. The fabric is very soft, thin yet warm. That uneven cuffs gives it an edgy look.

Earth Tone

Sweater: Zara | Trouser: Zara | Shoes: Nine West | Bag: Coach Bourough in Saffiano | Sunnies: Prada

I so love this buttoned cuff sweater, that i bought all available colours the store has. I got 3 - red, blue and black. I think this is kne of those classic pieces one must have in their closet. Good for autumn and even for winter, with a coat on.

Not so cold Winter

Coat: Zara | Sweater: Zara | Jeans: Levis | Wedge: Zara | Bag: Kate Hill

Although this is my favourite coat, I rarely use it. It is quite thick for the weather here. You see, it doesn't really gets too cold down here in Brisbane. The coolest I have ever experience so far was 5deg which only happens very early in the morning, and very rare. As soon as the sun shows up, it gets a little warmer. The average temp during winter is 10 to 15 deg which is not that cold. Also, the temp inside shops and buildings is already regulated so you really have to remove your coat. Not that i'm complaining as I can't stand too much cold. But I can't give much love to this coat more than it deserves. The wedge, on the other hand, is also my favourite. And like the coat, it is rarely worn. Im afraid i could damage it if i wear it regularly. Its too precious for me!

Trench Coat

Trench Coat: Zara | Sweater: Zara | Trouser: Zara | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Louis Vuitton

Trench coat is a staple piece everyone should have in their closet. You can wear it on any season, well except summer of course. It is very sleek and would definitely make a simple attire look classy and gorgeous. It comes with belt which i tied on the back so that it wouldnt fall and at the same time creates a silhoute. I dont usually wear green but this sweater gives a vibrant look. Although its a very thin knit, it is very warm. The trouser, on the other hand, is also my favourite trouser as it fits perfectly in my wide hips and small thighs.

Savvy in Grey

Coat: Zara | Sweater: Zara | Trouser: Zara | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Michael Kors

This Zara coat is a little bit old but is still getting so much love from everyone i've bumped into. Who wouldn't? The style is so polished. The colour is easy on the eyes. And the length, which sits just below the knee, is perfect! You can wear it on anything. I am wearing XS, which i think suits my current built. For coats like this i usually choose one size smaller. The trouser is similar to the one i have in camel. If only they have in any other colour, i would definitely buy all of it. It fits just right and the texture is thick and stretch.

Leather Sleeves

Coat: Zara | Sweater: Zara | Jeans: Levis | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Kate Hill

I admit, I have copied this outfit from a blogger I cant seem to remember (coz if I do, I will definitely give her a credit). As a fellow blogger, of course I also look at some inspirations and when I see one, I sometimes re-create the outfit. Im sure we all do that. Especially if the outfit is really gorgeous. It just so happen I have the exact same coat and jeans, so I gave it a try. This black and white coat is made of thick polyester which is not too warm. Plus the leather in the shoulder down to the sleeves creats a modern twist. However, i noticed that Zara is faking pockets now. I always got confused everytime i tried to insert my hands to the pocket lining and slips out again.

Keeping Up

Sweater: Zara | Skirt: Forever 21 | Shoes: Zara

I find it hard to find a pencil skirt that would look good on me. Either the waist is too tight and the bottom is too loose or the other way around. This pencil skirt is so perfect, I bought two. It creates that illusion of smaller waist and wider hips. In case you are wondering how tall I am, well im only 5'5. I wear UK size 8. Although some says i already look thin, I still want to lose some weight, especially around my belly. Since I gave birth, I really have a hard time dealing with my protruding tummy. I cannot do extreme exercises as I had caesarean delivery. I just rely on my not-so-diet diet. As Asian, I eat rice almost 3 times a day. So where's my diet there? Well, I eat brown rice and in small portions. I also drink lots of lemon water (did you know the benefits of lemon water?). And I have never eaten sweets and chips, and haven't drink soda, tea, coffee, juice or anything fluid except water for the past 10 years.

Sweats in sweater

Sweater: Zara | Skirt: Miss Selfridge | Shoes: Zara

This is my favorite skirt. It makes my waist so small and it goes with everything. And my favorite part is that it has pockets. Im really a forgetful person after my cesarian delivery. So i hate holding things as i might end up losing it. As you probably notice by now, i don't own lots of bags. In fact, i hate bringing one. I know, not a typical woman right? Its because i dont bring a lot of things except the essential ones, like wallet and mobile phone. So for that small things, a bag for me, is unnecessary. And having a having a pocket is a must.
Anyway, I am preparing for the autumn so im pulling out my sweaters from the boxes. Too early, right? But it is starting to rain out here in Brisbane. And my skin cannot withstand even just a cold wind. Though, i dont own a lot of knits. Maybe its time to shop! Yay!
